When traveling to Europe it seems fitting to change the currency once you get settled because there should be banks around. The truth is you have to be careful in some places like Germany whose small towns don’t have currency change in its banks. Garmisch, Germany is an example. The banks have currency exchange when they are located in big towns with the capacity to have that service. If you are visiting a small town, make sure you change your money before you get there or have a credit card to use. The banks do have cash machines where you can withdraw money from the cards. Don’t let your trip to Germany be ruined because you couldn’t pay for anything, take precautions.
